Had beautifully presented room with a huge mirror and a rubbish leather sofa for a splendid stay. It met what was needed.

The location was AMAZING in the "lounge area" and the staff here was exceptionally attentive and affable. It was also next to the centre of said car park spheres reminiscent of `` The Prisoner '' which as light fell were illuminated as well as Sheffield.

Emplacement proche du centre-ville accessible à pied. Terrasse et chambre top! Accueil sympathique.

I was attending a family dinner at the hotel and so convenience was a key factor to my stay. The decor, the main dining hall and pleasantness of staff. The setting was also very attractive with great views of the Saddleworth Moors. My single occupancy turned out to be a double suite in the Coach House which was very well designed and furnished. Being across a gravelled courtyard and concerned about walking in my evening wear I was provided with a golf buggy ride to and from the Coach House.
There was no tea making facility in the room but you could request if from reception. There was only a shower in the ensuite but no shower cap. Both have been standard issue in quality hotels I have stayed in. The breakfast was the strangest arrangement I had ever experienced. . In the dining room you went to a bar top hosted by the manager to select from a range of cold continental breakfast items in bowls and baskets, not a cold fridge or covered plates. Hot tea and coffee was made there for you and bacon baps where ordered and brought from the kitchen. There was no menu or guidance how you obtained your breakfast you just followed others. There was a problem with room keys opening the room on my departure. The management knew about the problem but did nothing to avoid inconvenience to customers. We all had to individually go back to reception to get our keys activated. Rather a trek for those of us in the Coach House.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, tucked against a wooded ridge and facing across to the Pennine Way ridgeline. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the sunken jacuzzi bath, which added a touch of luxury to my stay. The staff were very friendly and approachable, particularly the chap that showed me to my room. They were always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The food in the restaurant was amazing, cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were great. I also appreciated the variety of services offered, such as room service, dry cleaning, and laundry facilities. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was the best I have ever stayed in, there was nothing at all I could fault about the break. The staff were absolutely amazing and the luxury style and boutique feel is the perfect place to just chill out and enjoy every second of it. We will deffinately be back for another romantic trip to the lap of luxury in the beautiful hills.

Spent a lovely Xmas break here. The hotel is set in stunning grounds, perfect for a winter wander. The staff were friendly and efficient, making us feel at home during our stay. We enjoyed the delicious Xmas dinner, especially the succulent beef. Our room was cozy and clean, with all the necessary amenities. We also appreciated the convenient location, close to both local attractions and transport links.
Breakfast was quite expensive for the limited choice available. , some of the younger staff members lacked customer service skills and could benefit from additional training in this area.

The distinctive character of an independently owned and run hotel, the friendliness of the owners and family and the very good food.
The inflexibility of the taps in the basin and shower in the bedroom; I understand the good reasons for what has been done but it still is less than convenient.
